Homework is pretty intense this quarter, but I sneak time in wherever I can! He's slowly looking better to me. I'm trying to stick to the look of the original concept sculpts made for the AVP:R movie, but the damage was pretty hard to replicate...atleast for now...so I decided to just go with the flow and do my own version of his battle damage. Also chopping out the original teeth and replacing them HELPED immensely! The teeth and Mandibles are so much more believable now that they are made from baked hard super sculpey. Tore the eyes out as well and threw some baked little orbs in there too. There is still a ton of detail work to get done! However I'm feeling pretty good about my first Predator so far(course I gotta choose one of the hardest to start with)The Dredds are still temporaries, They will get a some serious TLC :)
Its a funny thing sculpting something. Its such a visual and physical task that I feel like the model is sorta burned into your head. I close my eyes at night sometimes and all I can see is PREDATOR!
