1hr A Day...

As of Monday I made a personal goal to sculpt 1hr everyday....for myself.
Sculpting Grimm busts all week leaves me hungry for more and the ideas are piling up in my head.
So here's one of the thumbnails from the other day, pushed an hour further. Dynamesh is such a deadly weapon I can't get over it!

Holy Hot-swappable Heads

First dabble with Mechanical/Hard Surface sculpting in Zbrush.
Very WIP and I really just wanted to get my feet wet....
But now I'm totally addicted after feeling the freedoms that come with Dynamesh.
Zbrush you are sincerely my favorite software hands down!
Done in one sitting....this is the future of thumbnailing in my opinion.

And yes...Prometheus melted my face.... to be honest I was concepting with no reference, yet you can see the impact it left on me.

Female Sculpt - BPR Skin Test

Just a quick look at a Female sculpt I'm working on. Hoping to use her in a few concepts I've got stuck in my head.

Just a quicky I did after seeing Fernando Issamo's sketch:

Like I said in my ZbrushCentral thread, I may keep pushing this guy. I'm having fun and mouthless things kind of freak me out!

Vlad Part 2 - Details & Secondary Forms

Hey Internet, here's my latest timelapse documenting the progression for the Vlad Doe character. Many revisions to the Parasite forms and scale, as well as the teeth. I've really been having a lot of fun progressing this handsome devil! More to come!

Vlad Doe - Part 1 - Base Model

I saw this design for a vampire in the graphic novel the Witch Doctor and was instantly hooked. The twist on the classic vampire tale is the "Vamprey". A lamprey-like parasitoid that eats and replaces the human digestive tract. Reaching up the esophagus to feed. The fang-like appendages on its side are used as a form of hypodermic delivery of the parasite's eggs into the next host. Here's Vlad Doe, based on the early sketches done by Lukas Ketner. This is very early and a WIP. The first of a few videos I'm hoping to do about the sculpt. Thanks for looking!
